Nota Biográfica: JORGE CHUAQUI KETTLUN

 


JORGE CHUAQUI KETTLUN: Sociólogo U.Chile y Doctor en Ciencias Humanas U. de Poznan (Polonia).

Profesor Investigador del Instituto de Sociología y coordinador del Programa de Salud del Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas, de la Universidad de Valparaíso. Fue quien además, posicionó en Latinoamérica la Sociología de la Salud Mental. Es autor de diversas obras y participa activamente en la creación y debate de Políticas en Salud Mental.

Fue miembro del comité ejecutivo del comité de investigación N° 49, Salud Mental y Enfermedad, de la Asociación Internacional de Sociología. En el XIX Congreso Internacional de Sociología, Julio 2018, Toronto, Canadá, presentó la ponencia THE ROLE OF FAMILIES IN THE INCLUSION OF PERSONS WITH SCHIZOPHRENIA IN CHILE y dirigió dos sesiones del RC49.

Participó  en la revisión del PLAN NACIONAL DE SALUD MENTAL 2017-2025, MINISTERIO DE SALUD (Chile) 2017.
